12.7 Mia patrino diris,kun la kapo ankoraŭ tenita malalte, "Mi ne plu havas kiun ajn aŭtoritaton pri ŝi,Laŭ Liŭ. Mi ne plu estas ŝia bopatrino,kiel vi scias,eĉ ne ŝia kuratoro,ĉar ŝi estas jam plenkreskinta. Vi devas mem demandi al ŝi. Ĉu mi alvoku ŝin?"
我的母亲仍然低着头说道：“对她我不再有任何支配权了，老刘。你要知道，我不再是她的婆婆了，甚至不是她的监护人了，因为她已经长大了。你必须自己问她。我把她叫来好吗？”

"Jes,mi petas."
“好的！”

"Alan! Venu momenton!" mia patrino vokis al la kuirejo.
“阿兰！来一下！”我的母亲向厨房喊道。

"Jes,panjo!" Alan respondis.
“好的，妈妈！”阿兰回答道。

Post momento,Alan venis el la kuirejo. Ŝi plu portis la malnovan antaŭtukon,la malnovan bluan nankenan robon,kiun tajlis por ŝi mia patrino okaze de la Novjaro; kaj ŝi plu portis la malnovan harplektaĵon,gracila kaj longa. Ŝi staris antaŭ ni,ankoraŭ tiel same naiva,obeema,laborema kaj dediĉita,krom ke ŝi nun aspektis multe pli altstatura,kun paro de manegoj kaj larĝaj ŝultroj.
一会儿之后，阿兰从厨房里走了出来。她还系着那个旧围裙；还穿着过年时我母亲为她裁剪的那件陈旧的蓝色棉袍；并且她还留着那条细长的旧辫子。她站在我们面前，除了她个子看上去高得多，长有一双大手和宽宽的肩膀，她依然是那样的天真、听话、殷勤和服服帖帖。

Mia patrino diris al Laŭ Liŭ, "Nu,demandu mem."
我的母亲对老刘说：“哝，你自己问吧！”

Laŭ Liŭ proksimiĝis al Alan kaj faris antaŭ ŝi profundan riverencon,kiel kavaliro antaŭ amatino en unu el la historioj,kiujn li rakontis al ni en la malnova tempo. Kaj per mallaŭta kaj ebena voĉo li diris, "Alan,mi foriras kun miaj kamaradoj al la granda montaro okcidente. Mi deziras kunpreni vin,ĉar mi amas vin kaj volas edziĝi al vi. Kion vi opinias?"
老刘走近阿兰，并且在她面前行了一个大礼，就像过去他对我们所讲的故事里的一个骑士在情人面前一样。他低沉而平和地说道：“阿兰，我要和我的同志们撤到西部大山里。我想带上你，因为我爱你并想娶你为妻。你意下如何？”

"Ĉu vi certas pri tio,kion vi diras?" Alan demandis severe,kiel maturulino.
“你说的话可当真？”阿兰像个成熟的女人，一本正经地问道。

"Centpocente certas," respondis Laŭ Liŭ,riverencante denove.
“百分之百当真。”老刘回答道，便又行了一个大礼。

"Do kiam vi foriros?" Alan denove demandis firmvoĉe.
“那你几时动身？”阿兰又语气坚定地问道。

"Post unu-du tagoj."
“就这一两天吧！”

"Bone! Mi iros kun vi." Ŝia respondo estis simpla kaj konciza. Ankaŭ ŝia voĉo estis simpla kaj konciza.
“那好吧！我和你一起走。”她的回答简单明了。她的声音也简单明了。

（这段真操蛋：原本以前早已打好了英语和世界语，昨晚不小心被我全部误删了。昨晚我又熬夜重新打，打到12点钟，只打了世界语部分，害得我昨夜没睡好觉。原打算今天（2014.6.18）上午不去学校在家打英语和解读，从早上7:30就开始忙乎，总算把英语和解读打完了，可不曾想，该死的电脑又保存不上，又失败了！前功尽弃，白忙乎了！Al la diabloj! 这段与我无缘与我有仇与我作对啊！我挥汗如雨，全身湿透了。外面下着雨，我身上也下着雨，心里却在起火，坑爷啊！现在只剩下了解读部分，只好作罢！此时的心情糟糕透了，我把这段上火的经历记录下来留作深刻缅怀！对未完成的，只能无可奈何地说一声：Al la diabloj! 现在是10:10分。我自己在家，自己做饭，下午有课，中午还得睡觉。中午的饭是大米干饭和黄瓜土豆汤！外加一个咸鸭蛋！2014.6.18）

（我还是把这段英文给补上吧，生气归生气，如果不补上，心里不踏实，总觉得有一件事没做完，似乎是一个缺憾啊！2014.6.18  21：39）

My mother said,her head still held low,"I have no authority whatever over her now,Lao Liu. I am no longer her mother-in-law as you know,not even her guardian,since she is now grown up. You've got to ask her herself. Shall I call her?"
"Yes,please."
"O Ran! Come out for a minute!" my mother called to the kitchen.
"Yes,mother!" O Ran answered.
In a minute O Ran came out from the kitchen. She still wore the old apron,the old blue nankeen robe which my mother had made for her for the New Year;and she still wore the old pigtail,slender and long. She stood in front of us,as innocent,obedient,hardworking and devoted as ever,except that she looked now much taller,with a pair of large hands and big shoulders.
My mother said to Lao Liu,"Now ask her yourself."
Lao Liu walked up to O Ran and performed a profound bow in front of her like a knight before his mistress in one of the stories he used to tell us in the old days. And in a low,even voice,he said,"O Ran,I'm withdrawing with my comrades to the big mountains up in the west. I want to take you along,because I love you and want to marry you. What do you think about it?"
"Are you sure of what you say?" O Ran asked sternly like a mature woman.
"One hundred per cent sure," replied Lao Liu,with another bow.
"When are you going,then?" O Ran asked again in a firm voice.
"In one or two days."
"Good! I'll go with you." Her answer was simple and concise. Her voice was simple and concise,too.
