《山村》三语种对照--1.9
Pri tiuj vortoj mi pensis,fikse rigardante sur miaj nudaj piedoj la sablerojn ankoraŭ ekbrilantajn en la sunlumo. Poste mi levis la kapon kaj rigardis orienten laŭ la rivero. Neniu fino,efektive. Kaj mi aŭdis muĝi la bovinon,base kaj peze. Tio estis bovino nia. Ŝi rigardis reveme alidirekten. Tia ŝi ofte estis:muĝanta senkaŭze,rigardanta malprecize la akvon ritme fluantan okcidenten,tage kaj nokte,ĉiam laŭ sia trankvila maniero. Do ankaŭ tiudirekte mi trovis nenion novan,krom ke la fluo iom kurbiĝis ĉirkaŭ terason antaŭ la vilaĝo. Sed aliflanke de tio ĝi plufluadis,rekte ĝis la malproksima horizonto. Tamen,ĉe la kurbiĝo aŭdiĝis kanto. Eble nia bovino erare supozis tion muĝo de virbovo. Tial ĝi aspektis tiel malsprita.

当我打着赤脚在沙上向远方凝望的时候，我立刻就想起了这些话--沙粒仍然在我脚上对着夕阳闪闪发光。我抬起头来，把视线又移到河上，面向东方。的确，它没有尽头。接着我就听到一只母牛低沉的叫声。这是我们的那只母牛。她正在迷糊地向另外一个方向呆望。她常常是这个样儿，无缘无故地叫几声，然后就象在梦乡里一样，凝视着那日夜不停地、有节奏地、平静地、向西方流去的河水。我从她所凝视的那个方向望去，也没有发现什么新鲜的东西，只看见河流在村前的一个土丘那儿拐了一个弯。那道弯一拐完后，它就照样往前流，一直流向远方的地平线。不过，就在那拐弯的地方升起了一个歌声。也许我们的那只母牛错误地把它当做公牛的召唤，这大概也就是为什么她变得那样地发呆吧。

呵嗬，唬，嗨-嗬，唬，嗨-嗨-嗬，咯-咯-咯。。。。。。

I thought of these words as I stared at the sand grains on my bare feet,which were still glittering in the sun. Then I lifted my head and gazed up the river towards the east. No end,indeed. And I heard a cow lowing,deep and heavy. It was our cow. She was looking dreamily in the other direction. She was often like that,mooing without a cause,staring hazily at the water which flowed down west rhythmically,day and night,always in its own peaceful way. So I found nothing new in that direction either,except that the stream made a slight bend round a terrace in front of the town. But beyond that it went on running again,straight to the distant horizon. However,at the bend there rose a song. Perhaps our cow was mistaking it for the call of an ox. That was why she appeared so foolish.
